There was no contracted rematch with Singsurat. Pac moved to 122 had grown, he could not make 112. Pac was severely weight drained, he lost his belt thru the scale before the actual fight.

Arum has nothing to do with that Sanchez fight, Pac was still with Murad that time! Sanchez was more experienced and a faster fighter that night and the young Pac was obviously bewildered by his dirty play. It was a draw mainly due to point deductions on Sanchez but IMO, Pac should had won by disqualification.

A great fighter in or near their prime.

It's easy to make a list like that. Pacquiao has fought boxers, boxer punchers, counter punchers, inside fighter, southpaws , bigger / taller fighters, the list goes on. Morales, Marquez, Barrera, and Cotto are better then anything on that list, regardless of the style.

Pacquiao smackio.....you put him in their with the likes of Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Wildfredo Benetiz.....he would be stopped easily or at the best made to look the fool.

The first two I have no doubt would knock Pacquaio out cold within 6 rounds. Pacquiao can't box a lick....just watch him....look what Morales did to him before Morales got old.......:bbb He would never touch Wilfredo Benetiz.

Pac isnt even the best boxer/fighter today...Floyd is. I'll go even further and say when or if they do fight Floyd will come out on top as well.

As of right now though Pac is climbing the ladder of ATG's very fast and in impressive fashion.

    1. Pacquiao is the most exciting fighter of all time in my opinion.
    2. Pacquiao has faughts guys we expected him to lose to (pre-fight).
    3. He is littered throughout record books.

I think Pacquiao has to be mentioned as one of the greats. If he fights Mayweather or Martinez and wins, then he can be properly discussed.

How can you be considered the greatest when your match making is carefully selected under certain conditions ? You know why SRR is considered the greatest ? Its not because he fought guys under certain conidtions !! Manny is an ATGno doubt but all time lets fall back..
