I thought rendall munroes loss was pretty brave. Taking some serious punishment in the end. Never gave up trying to be in the fight though

Andy Holligan took a pasting from Chavez but refused to buckle, think it was his corner who stopped it if I remember rightly.

Yeah.... I've got to go with Williams against Klitschko.

Turned up out of shape :-( and took a real shellacking before Nady mercifully saved him.

From the end of World War II to the early 90s, our sport was built on brave/classy defeats. We were brilliant at them!

    Danny Williams - Vitali,
DR IRONFIST's hands were so badly injured from bashing Danny's bravehead all n8.

Vitali took 4 yrs off after that punishment his fist took off Danny's head.

Yeah, the first fight was amazing, McAuley's heart to get though the disastrous first round was impressive.

    Don Cockell against Rocky Marciano.

Rocky beat the **** out of Don & used every foul in the book in the process. Reports said the crowd were appalled at how savage Marciano was. By that point in his career Don had a water retention problem & had gained a lot of weight from his former LHW days, he pleaded with his corner not to stop the fight but eventually the referee did.

As a afterthought, Danny Williams vs Samil Sam was another brave performance by Williams, he always had a lot of heart.
