cotto will fight anyone and we know that. floyd will not fight anyone and he had history to prove that. :deal
True. If Clottey had more hand speed then I would see Mayweather being more cautious. But Mayweather takes what you give him. He isn't stuck to one way of fighting. It would probably be a sloppy fight with a lot of blocked punches on Clottey's end while Mayweather will slip a lot of CLottey's shots. I just don't see them standing there though staring at each other though waiting.
Cotto will fight anyone? What happened to him fighting Paul Williams when it mattered? **** it what happened to him fighting paul williams now? He ducking martinez to. He don't want none of marvelous.
Floyd better precision puncher than pac he would land numerous shots at will on the human punching bag.
Thats miss leading as Mayweather offered Arum a contract to fight Margo, Cotto, Hatton and DLH which Arum turned down. Mayweather also signed a contract to fight Pacquiao with a 14 day cut off and that was turned down. If those contracts were signed, Mayweather would have stayed with Arum and we would have had all these fights. Cotto sat ringside of the Mayweather-Gatti fight yet didn't get Arum to offer a challenge to Mayweather after the fight. They also only used Mayweather's name to hype up there fight for Margarito-Cotto knowing full well they were going to fight Hoya next.
ok compare cotto and floyd's opposition at welterweight and let's see who fight's who and the toughest challenge.
that's direct comparison. you can list (boxrec) them if you want. so who has the toughest set of opponents at welter, cotto or floyd?
and what happened to floyd wanting to fight the winner of sergio-williams? floyd bailed out again once he saw the knockout.
That wasn't your point, you said Cotto will fight anyone which we know isn't the case, you then attempt to build a strawman argument by throwing out the question about who has the better resume at 147 as if that will some how prove that Cotto will fight anyone and win you the argument.
your list of opponents will prove that you take on challenges. so i asked him to compare both floyd and cotto's recent opponents at their recent weights.
You're trying to change it again now to it being someone who takes on challenges which again is different to what you originally said and doesn't mean someone with a strong resume in any one division will "fight anybody" which is what you stated. Cotto was offered Martinez by HBO but they turned it down to fight a shot to bits Mayorga on Showtime, why would he do this if he would fight anybody?
