And everything else you say is spot on...

i remember honeyghan saying that he was in terrible pain everytime he got hit in the face .perhaps this was also a very brave performance from honeyghan considering how long the fight went

that's the dumbest post on here by some considerable distance.who got humiliated?everyone, including francis, knew he was gonna get flattened, hence the £20k sponsorship he got paid,on the soles of his boots.francis wasn't humiliated in the slightest,he got a good payday against an atg, something he'll be able to tell stories about in south london bars and gyms until the day he dies.

Khan/Prescott takes some beating. Because of the hype behind Khan, the fact Prescott was completely random and expected to be one of those bums with a decent record. And the nature of the loss...man....

    Woods vs Tarver.

Woods had everything in his favour bar the venue. A shot opponent that couldn't hurt him, who struggled against fighters with good jabs and decent right hands..... yet Woods fell apart.

That's a bit harsh, BB. Woods wasn't far from washed up himself, for a guy who relies on his toughness it was always gonna be difficult. It wasn't a total disgrace or humiliation by any means. Clinton did ok for his talent level.

Even i had Woods to lose that fight, perhaps even worse then he actually did and you know what i think of Mason Dixon.

Just echoing what everyone else has said, Khan-Prescott is the best I could think of.

I remember how shocked I was when I saw it - remember thinking, " Who the **** is this Prescott fella!"

Obviously, I was not to know that Prescott was trash and Khan would grow into a top world operator and not just a hype job.

Woods seemed overawed for sure, but it certainly seemed like Tarver knew a bit too much. Woods is very basic after all. If he can't get his jab going he's going to look a twat and Tarver took it away with movement.

Yeah.... I just expected better from Woods probably.

Maybe it's the styles, Johnson was as made to order for him as a world class opponent could be?

He (Woods) would have beaten Cloud if he was in his prime, of that I'm certain..... Johnson would too fwiw.
