Join the club. I've been called every name, Floyd's BIGGEST hater despite my insult thrown at his fans, and rarely him. But yeah, there are some annoying ass ****ers on both sides!!

Hating on either Pac or Floyd simply because of the fans just shows how weak of mind you are. Or dumb.

It's the same thing as hating a movie or song because it's WILDLY popular and a ton of people like it. It's allowing others to forge your opinion, hence the weak mind comment...

How come you guys don't even mention the other fighters, what they do well or how they would match up? All you guys do is argue with guys who like other fighters besides Pac. what's up with that?

 

If u don't like watching pacquiao fight u don't like boxing. All this other **** is hot air. Floyds great, but u can't even compare the two when it comes to excitement. One's in a diffrenet gallaxy. There hasn't been a fighter as exciting to watch since a mike tyson in my humble opinion. Hating on a guy just cause u roll with another fighter is childish. I loved Hakeem Olijowan. When I was young I was a HUGE fan of Michael Jordan, that doesn't mean I roll around talking **** about Kobe, to me that just makes me look like an idiot.

I think it's more that Mayweather fans (not just) hate NOT Pacquiao but hate Pacquiao fans. Particularly, the bandwagon fans. Come on, now... there are A LOT of NEW Pacquiao fans out there who know him ONLY from beating De La Hoya and everyone after, and they think that he is the greatest because of those fights. A lot of the Pacquiao fans, also, hate Mayweather because of the public perception, which is fine IF it's his personality they hate - NOT his boxing. Understand, Pacquiao has fans who AREN'T boxing fans. He is a household name, now (like Mike Tyson was). Mayweather DOES NOT have casual fans, so naturally, the average person at home will only judge him based on the "bad guy" he portrays himself to be.

BOTH are all-time greats.

I ain't hatin on Manny and in your opinion I could definitely see how you find Manny a lot more exciting and I think that''s cool because Manny is a lot more exciting to watch. No question. But being a student of boxing, that means very little to me in terms ring generalship and basically just not wanting to get punched in the face. So what Floyd does in the ring and has over the last 16 or so years definitely appeals to me a lot more as a boxer.

 

Different people like boxing for different reasons.

Some like it because they are a fan of the skill and the dedication required...
Some like it because of the warrior attitude and brutality of fights...
Some like it because Manny's hair looks like the Beib...
Some like it because they wanna hang from Floyd's nutsack trying to catch dolla bills at the club when he's makin' it rain... :yikes
