Goddamn, not the 4th round again. For Chrissakes! Nice shot by Jhonny, he's to be taken seriously, he's got some power.

    I'm devastated.

Yeah, anybody who goes down from flush bombs by absolute terrors like Montiel and Gonzalez must be.

He's too small for featherweight. Needs to go down to 122. Fight Nishioka, Vazquez Jr, or rematch Montiel.

I'm both devastated as a backer of Hasegawa's and elated as a backer of Gonzalez's.

This was going to both suck and rule for me no matter what the outcome, really. :conf

Gonzalez and Mexico didn't appriciate Japan going to a commercial during the anthem.

Boom! Wide right hand caught Hasegawa. Bit of a quick stoppage....I would have let Hasegawa fight on just to see where his legs were at. Looked like a flash, but a bit buzzed. A bit too quick of a stoppage...may'be? Hmmmm...

OK, I guess we're watching the last five seconds of every round of Aoh-Gutierrez again.

I'm not sure if the weight has much to do with it. This fight sounds like it played out like the Montiel fight...him starting well and then getting caught.

Leaned right into the overhand that landed flush on the chin..

His facial expression on the ground was clearly quite pained/dazed...however, he got up quite fast and seemed OK.

Overall, I'd say so-so stoppage. It was an emphatic knockdown, but the recovery seemed to be there.

man...so thats it for Hasegawa then if he cant get down to 122. Guy has so much talent and skill but lacks a good set of whiskers.
