There is an article over at the scene and the last line goes something like: "the event is promoted by Di Bella entertainment, Warriors Boxing and Carl Froch."

Further to recent speculation by people on this forum regarding the way Froch has be talking about doing business himself, is this confirmation that Carl has left Hennessy behind?

It does seem that way although I'm surprised there hasn't been anything official.

He has left him. Good move. Should have done it earlier tbh. Hennesy is crap.

Good on him if this is true - is he really going to be a free agent though?

Anyone care to speculate on who he might go to? Warren?

So Mick couldn't even guarantee himself promotional rights for Froch despite Carl still being in the Super Six?

Seriously how is he still in boxing?! He can't be as bad as we think surely?

If he has I do think it's too little too late, although hopefully he'll be on Sky from now on.

Dunno...Haye, Hatton and Khan all ended up with Golden Boy so perhaps them. I doubt he'd want Warren controlling his career.

Carl's never had a problem with self-promotion in the past - maybe this could be a good idea!

Good news really. Doesn't need a promoter really till the S6 is over does he? His next (2) fights are already lined up and he has little say in tv rights or venue. Why waste money on a promoter. take it all yourself!

Am I the only one who thinks people are thinking way too much into this?

But where's he likely to go afterwards?
GBP seems like a good bet, or even Hatton Promotions which has close links with GBP but could possibly give him more profile in the UK.

When you think about it his next 3-4 fights are lined up. He has got semi-final, final, rematch with kessler then a move up in weight to rematch Pascal.
