Me too. Unfortunately. Oh well, great fights (only caught Nishioka's KO, but the other two were exciting) and the weekend has just started. :bbb

I have mixed feelings about these 3 japanese results..

I love the fact that Aoh looked absolutely amazing. I though the fight would be 50/50 and was very close to picking Gutierrez.. but he absolutely blew him out of the ring and ended it all with a great body shot. He's a serious player. He and Uchiyama are serious players at Super Featherweight. I'd love to see him up against Litzau next.

Even though being a big favorite, Nishioka looked good once again. He ended the night by smashing Munoz's face with a nasty left straight, the same way he ended the night for Gonzalez 2 years ago.

Hasegawa.. man that 4th round. The fight was close all the way, but It seemed that Hasegawa was a bit sharper and was up in points. But once again the puncher caught him good in the 4th and ended the night for him. One have to wonder if it's time for him to leave the ring for good before he takes unnessesary punishment. I'm pretty sure he still has the skills to pick up a belt, but the featherweight division is stacked with punchers like Gonzalez.. He's had a great career so far in any case.

Gonzalez.. man.. he's a tough. He was the better man tonight. He went to the opponents country and did what he had to. I'd absolutely love to see him defend against Satoshi Hosono. That fight would be an absolute war.. and I'd be a chance of redemption for Japan.

I hope to see more triple headers. Japan's got alot of talent to showcase.

Hey what made you pick Katsidis if you Don't mind me asking?

I picked kats for a couple reasons and wanted to compare.

Obviously 1 is simply what my heart is pulling for.

But another, is the fact of what I saw in Robert's fight with Casamayor, is he can be caught clean at times when he is dominating, almost like Guerrero loses focus when he starts to coast. And with that, Katsidis will be bringing ALOT of pressure, knowing that Robert will be the superior boxer, but if Kats does his usual and starts getting to Robert early I feel he can get him out of there. Even if Robert builds an early lead.

Is your thinking the same at all on this one?
