These guys are easily two of the hardest training fighters in the game today. Yet people still criticize them for being freaks of nature. Why is it fair that this should diminish their accomplishments

Does Paul Williams ability to fight at three weights take away from his achievements in the ring?

    Or George Foremans size?

    Or Listons monsterous reach?

In fact i dont hear half the people slating Lennox Lewis for being so big, he fought safety first for most of his career, he was "chinny" just like people call Wlad yet he doesnt get half the abuse

People are just angry with them because they won't fight each other. It seems like they are picking on lesser opponents.

Ali and Frazier had 'great gifts' for their day, too.

But if Ali and Frazier decided never to fight and just "share" the title ... they could've dominated the division for close to a decade, too, while Jimmy Ellis and Jerry Quarry and Buster Mathis tried again and again to beat both and failed miserably each time.

There's nothing dramatic about what the Klitschkos are doing. They aren't superhuman. There have always been times when one or two heavyweights dominated all the others in the division. The problem now is that the top two simply refuse to fight each other.

If they did, we might get a great series of fights out of them. Or we'd at least have one recognized dominant heavyweight champ. People just want to know who the real World Heavyweight Champion is. It doesn't matter if that one guy dominates for a while. Boxing was very popular when Dempsey, Louis and Tyson dominated everyone. It gave fans and non-fans one person to identify with.

Claiming they "can't" fight because they are brothers, and then Wlad publicly stating Vitali is better, doesn't win over any fans who want to know which brother is actually number one.

It's like they are thumbing their noses at all the fans. It is an insult. And people are reacting to that ... because they want ONE champ.

He did get a lot of abuse when he was active too, a lot of people only started to appreciate him when he was already retired.
It's the problem if you're not from the "right" country. While others with physical advantages never got called upon it.

And seriously... they aren't even that big.

Baloney. The people who want Wlad vs Vitalali, only want to see one of them knocked out.

They would still slag them off. The Brits who hail lennox and slag Wlad off make me laugh.

I doubt most have even watched Lennox fight.

No, people want to see them fight because they are the TWO BEST. Just like people want to see Mayweather and Pacquiao fight. Just like they wanted to see Ali and Frazier fight.

Vitali and Wlad are the two best heavyweights and have been for years. If Adamek beats Vitali, no one is going to call him the REAL world heavyweight champion unless he beats Wlad. Or if Haye beats Wlad, nobody is going to call him the REAL world champion unless he beats Vitali.

The Klitschkos will even tell you someone has to beat BOTH of them to be considered the real champion. That's because NEITHER of them is the real champion, yet they are the top two.

People want ONE World Heavyweight Champion. And they won't fight each other. So people spew hate at them. Just like people "hate" Mayweather because he says he can beat Pacquiao but won't fight him. Just like people "hate" Pacquaio because he says he can beat Mayweather, but Manny won't agree to drug testing.

People don't give a crap why someone "won't" fight. They just want to know who the best is. And when the fighters prevent that from happening, people start "hating" them.

You're telling me that if they fought, suddenly there would be no hate for whichever one wins?

    bull.

Many people want to see one of them knocked out, or even better both. That's why they want to see them fight.

What brother in their right mind would destroy the others career?

    come on. would you?

They are hated because of their styles and many people think they are the best of a weak division. I think many people see them as frauds to be honest.

I'm a big K2 fan myself. Just saying what I have heard people say.

If they fought, it would be the biggest heavyweight fight since Lewis-Tyson. It would be televised all over the world. It walk be talked about all over the world. It would decide who was the True World Heavyweight Champion. Neither would have a size or power advantage. It's an even fight.

Vitali is considered the real "fighter' of the two, Wlad the more skilled boxer.

They both admit their fights in the gym were wars. We wouldn't have to expect a mismatch (as is always the case).

Nobody would complain about anything because it's a pickem fight for the heavyweight championship of the world.

People want evenly matched fights and they want to know who the REAL champ is.

Wlad vs. Vitali would be that fight.

There would be nothing to hate. The people who didn't like them would be glad to see someone lose, the people who love them would see the two best fight, and everyone who wants to know who the real champ is would get that.

What people DO HATE is that they CAN'T see any of that and they're blaming the two who are the cause of that.

The klits are very talented no doubt. But boxing is show business with blood and they are pretty boring to watch, which is very bad for tv just ask hbo.

Some people simply cant except their dominance in heavyweight! its not because of their size or other physical gifts, or the fact they dont want to fight each other, thats just pure excuses for what some really thinks imo. Its most likely because they are not what some are used see (or want to see) as dominant heavys!

Yes, because when Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier were both undefeated and both had a legit claim to the heavyweight title ... NOBODY wanted to see them fight because Americans were just happy that two nice African Americans were "sharing' the title.

People HATE when there is one undisputed World Heavyweight Champion. The sport always suffers when there is one recognized World Champion.

It's so hard to grasp the concept of ONE TRUE CHAMP.

    :nono

People like it better when two guys who are DOMINANT simply REFUSE to fight each other and fight lesser fighters for years ...

They are HATERS if they don't like multiple champs.

    Brilliant.

The Golden Era of the Heavyweights in the 1970s would have been so much more entertaining if Ali and Frazier had never fought, and instead agreed to share the belt and keep the title split, and they just took turns making fun of and beating Jimmy Ellis over and over again.

That would've been so much cooler.
