Toronto Sun: Haye's credentials as a heavyweight champ could hardly be phonier

    Of course. It's all hype and spin and schtick and all about money. If baseball was run like boxing the top teams would hold out for special deals with some hyped up rival and not bother with dangerous opponents that might win but won't fill the stadium, and the baseball stars would be on tv yelling about how great they are and how they'll make their opponents crawl an decapitate them. Hey, the schtick works. Wrestlemania just got over 71,000 attendees. I'd like to see boxing become a legitimate sport, though.

    And if baseball was run like boxing there'd also be a wink and a nudge over fixed ball games, like the 1919 Black Sox...like Harrison & Haye.

    No way. Chris Byrd is far more successful than Haye.
