It's not about the money, Floyd has plenty of that, he doesn't want to risk losing his magical "0"

maybe, I think he needs it because I have the feeling that he is fading because of his inactivity, thing is if thats true then mayweather knows for sure and will do anything he can do fight the most important fight of his life prepared, even if it means taking a tune up. I would think its cool if he wanted pac right after mosley, I doubt it though.

Could be. But it's no secret the Pacman receives A1 beating black and blue after each fight he undergoes. That hurts even more. But that's pac, he wants every fan who watches him satisfied. You can look at newly Pacquiao videos posted where he is eating with Ariza, his eyes sometimes get slightly crossed. That man has been in so many wars. I did not even mention his demanding Congressional duties.

What is Floyd still waiting for? Pacquiao turns into a slurring Senator? :patsch

  6. He doesn't need any tune-up and still outboxes Manny with his great skills, but knowing the perfectionist that floyd is, I won't be surprised if he signs up for another fighter just to make sure the perfect "schooling" is emphasized for us fans.

he doesn't need one but look at it like this. If he fights Pacquiao with out without a tune-up, it'll be in November. So why not get one in July if it doesn't hurt anything.

If he doesn't take a tune-up, it's his built in excuse if he loses...

Floyd stays in shape, he loves to train from what I can tell, IDK he 'needs' a tune-up...Plus it messes up his rythum of one fight a year...

No but why shouldn't he get one? Pacquiao has had his tune up fights Clottey and Margarito. Cotto was just above a tune up, but not much above. Shouldn't Mayweather get at least one?

How about a tune-up against Cotto or Margarito!

I doubt if he will even sign the dotted line.

In my opinion Cotto is a better boxer than Clottey and Margarito who did expose a flaw of Cotto's. He has durabality issues. Cotto however is not on the Mayweather/Pacquiao level.
