Paul McCloskey's Bucket List : A fight with Khan, A world title shot, Being on HBO, Having a good luck parade in his hometown, A pay day what else? Paul is a nice bloke, But he is going from fighting Barry Morrison to fighting on of the best fighters in the world, Before the Maidana fight I would say McCloskey had a punchers chance I dont think he even has that now, I dont see him outboxing Khan, So what will he do? Also the whole "Good luck Dudey" and getting the local school children involved was just cringeworthy and I think it sets a bad example, Having demostrations and marches akin to an Orange march is just wrong for a sporting contest.
Good on him for having these posters and stuff set up around Ireland. He seems to be making the most out of an opportunity that he will never likely see again if he loses. I think he does still have a punchers chance. ANYONE, against Khan has a punchers chance.
Totally agree. Them children are proud of Paul and it's nice to see in this day and age when Boxers don't get the credit they deserve a hometown kid like Paul gets a send off fitting of a Film.
