It was off TV though, so nobody on the board can really comment on it unless they were physically there. (ie whether it was a legitimate stoppage)

 

Round 1

Stevenson holds his right arm low and jabs to the body from outside, acting like a southpaw Mayweather. Edwards tries to flurry up high down the middle on the taller man. Stevenson doubles his jab from long range. Stevenson changing levels with the jab, shooting it out at Edwards' chin and stomach. Big 1-2 to the carapace from Stevenson. Edwards lunges with his own 1-2 while Stevenson is circling him with plenty of distance to dodge. Edwards comes in rolling his left arm around in an invisible sling at his side, parrying Stevenson's jabs and looking for spots to land his own straight shots. Edwards is very tentative despite getting inside past the right jab.

Close, somewhat uneventful round. 10-9 Stevenson

 

Round 2

Edwards is drifting to his left, a little hop in his step. Edwards trickles out his jab. Stevenson is now the one spinning on an axis watching Edwards and trying to get him in his crosshairs for right jabs and straight lefts to the body. Edwards is throwing a very cautious 1-2 but not following through with it, yanking back when it's halfway executed without landing cleanly. Stevenson presses, and jabs to the body. Edwards tries to double jab him in the face but is too short and can't reach anything but shoulder as Stevenson shrinks back. BIG LEFT HAND KNOCKDOWN BY STEVENSON!!!! EDWARDS TAKES HIS TIME getting up. ANOTHER KNOCKDOWN, STRAIGHT LEFT HAND!! EDWARDS' NOSE IS BLOODIED AND BROKEN!!! HOLY ****!!!!!

A doctor is checking the nose of Edwards before round 3 starts. He asks if he is sure he wants to continue and tells him very concernedly to protect himself.

 

Round 3

Stevenson is threatening with his southpaw 1-2. Edwards is backing up and pinching his fists together to catch shots, running and covering with only a trickle of counter flurries for show. A BIG STRAIGHT LEFT HAND buckles Edwards' knees but he regains his balance and senses in time to defend the follow up punches. MASSIVE LEFT HANDS BANG EDWARDS IN THE HEAD LIKE A DRUMSTICK!!!! Edwards is circling, trying to figure out what to do. STEVENSON DESTROYS HIM WITH AN ENORMOUS LEFT HAND!!! Edwards falls flat on his back!!!! KTFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ability to learn is supposed to be something that separates us from the animals!

There are other boxing related websites out there with different rules than ESB, nahmsayin?
