This is now on the site where the fight is all the hype.

This was taken from his "on the ropes" radio interview.

Now, anyone with a brain knows this is true of Manny. He even states that he could drop down to 140 with no problem, as he has to eat so much to remain at 147.

But, if and when there is a 3rd JMM-PAC fight (which, due to styles and the fireworks of the 1st 2 bouts will always be a big seller), does this take the wind out of Arum's demand that any fight with Pac MUST be at 147?

Pac could probably rule 140 with an iron fist. And outside of PBF, who else is really left at 147?

Doesn't matter what division (140 or 147) Pac and Marquez fight as they'll weigh about the same come fight night.

Right, so why MUST the fight be at 147? (According to Arum)

Ppl need to let that fight go. I'd like to see it too, but JMM has no chance. He'd be fighting way out of his natural weight class, where he's a lot slower, and he's a lot older now too. Arum / Roach would make sure it's 147 to get the best advantage possible , in the end it wouldn't make a difference.

But if 140 is his natural weight, would that not be more suitable for Pac himself? Ariza has said himself in the past that Pac is a natural 140 pounder, and he would not have to worry about bulking Manny up so much.

becuz manny can fight there with no problem and Marquez can't.

But who cares Marquez can't beat any of the top jr welters either so your big ****ing argument is still moot.

And to take it one step further, just because you are fighting at 147 doesn't mean Marquez has to weigh 147. He can choose to come in at 140 or 138.

these two guys are not fighting at feather or super feather anymore, IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON!

I think JMM won the 2nd fight or at least could have won it but that is over with.

    MOVE ON!

The fight happening at any weight above 135 is not a good look for JMM. Hell.....fighting PAC at any weight for JMM at this stage is just plain bad for his health. But 140 is better than 147. Not that it really makes that much of a difference b/c the outcome would be the same. You do have a point though....at 147 the only big name is PAC, Floyd and a very young, green Alvarez. Berto is a belt holder but not really a big name. He's on level with the top guys at 140 like Bradely or Khan.

Arum doesn't want to deal with GBP. Is that even a news?

Pac wont fight Alvarez who is a 154 pounder. After PBF, there no real fights at 147 outside of Berto.

At 140, you got Bradley, JMM, Zab, Maidana (this would be a ****ing war) Alexander, Mathyse, and Khan.

Not saying he has to fight all of those guys (that would be insane), but there are some fights there to be made that people would pay to see.

Barring the FMJ fight? I actually would love to see Pac drop down to 140. Lots of good style match ups. Only problem is if guys would freeze due to the magnitude of fighting Manny.

As much as i want to see it, it wouldn't pass round 3.:bart
Honestly, I don't see those fighter's winning against Pac. Khan would definitely give the hardest fight due to physical advantages and style. But i doubt if this would happen(Roach). JMM being the second hardest. Aside from this 2, its all KO for Pac.

    IMHO.
