if sky seroisly are not paying him then i am going for an outside bet on channel 5 picking it up they just bought Big brother and are under new management looking for a new image and Khan is a well known sportsman in britian

still think the fight is on sky though just Khan penny pinching management(family) all living out khans pocket and not wanting to reduce thier cut they should just keep on ppv and let the 50 people who bought it see it

Tickets would have been sold in batches, so maybe it was the individual batches that they said were sold out?

sky have fkd khan in this ,khan is the victim, imagine any other boxer asked to shave off £1 m from his cut under a week before a fight hed rightly make noises, sky are scum, they need khan more than khan needs them ,he can happily fk off to hbo and showtime for big $$,khan just wanted his fans to see him after a year on the road its called loyalty, something sky should be showing to king khan

Amir Khan seems like a decent fella, so hopefully he will do the honourable thing and will not pull out.
It will be a kick in the teeth to Irish fans if it's cancelled. It's not cheap heading over to the fight, between airline ticket, hotel and fight tickets. Most people have spent alot of money heading over.

So McCloskey might have to give up part of his purse to Khan?

He should tell them to **** off and make Khan's team look like the complete and utter mugs that they are!

Khan really needs to get his red card out and sack everyone associated with him. Including his dad

What a jokeKhan and his team is.

He shouldn't getting more than a quarter of a mil' to defend a belt which means nothing against a contender who means nothing in the grand scheme of things. The undercard is **** as well.

If the fight gets called off....**** KHAN :deal

Why is everyone getting so alarmed?

Amir Khan will not pull out of the fight that is for CERTAIN.

Team Khan will receive over £1m in ticket revenue which is more than enough to cover the show.

Team Khan will receive in the region of $1m from US paymasters HBO, another reasons not to pull the show.

Team Khan will also receive a set sum from Sky TV - albeit it isnt as much as possible PPV takings, but its another reason not to pull the show.

Some of you are flapping over nothing.

    Saj sounds like a twat.

No one is going to believe an injury, who gives a **** if khans purse is down...it's gonna hit him less than all the fans paying for travel, accomodation and tickets. Sky should have forced a good undercard from early on but "khan promotions" -(a company in name only, they do nothing, just like mayweather promotions) and hatton have been shambles.
If he claims he gets an injury at this point, when he's out of all hard training and now tapering then ariza should laugh his face off as obviously his fitness coach won't have done the job.

I'll say it again: Asif Vali is a shambles and a clown.

They're not recieving $1m from HBO - that figure is for stateside fights only
