David Lemieux vs. Marco Antonio Rubio & Adonis Stevenson vs. Derek Edwards RBR

Rubio jabs and hooks from the elbow while standing in the pocket. Lemieux is still doing his Energizer bunny routine, but running out of alkaline often. Flurry, flurry, rest, flurry, flurry, rest. Rubio has the pattern pretty well figured out and is blocking the flurries and attacking during the rests. Rubio jabs him in the face. Lemieux crouches, and starts moving around...very hyper. Right to the body by Lemieux, then misses a right upstairs. Rubio walks him down and punches him into a corner. Rubio cracks him with a right hand across the top of the head! Lemieux throws about 6-7 unanswered power punches but every single one of them hits Rubio's forearms. They throw and land right hand leads together.

Lemieux got blocked a LOT that round.

Round 6

Lemieux is doing a lot of starting and stopping out of his crouch, beginning to lurch forward and get his hands moving but thinking better of it. Lemieux is pushing some really nice right hand spears through Rubio's guard and snapping his head back. Now Lemieux is resting, and Rubio backs him up with hooks to the body and slapping shots to the face. Lemieux stunned a little by a right hand counter. Lemieux throws and lands a left hook out of his crouch. Rubio catches up to Lemiueux while crouching again and pushes down on the back of his head. Lemieux cracked again with a big right hand! Lemieux clinches. BIG RIGHT HAND BY RUBIO!!!! Lemieux is walked into the ropes!! Rubio pressures. UPPERCUT!!!! Lemieux tries to flurry off the ropes but is getting hammered with rights!!!
