I agree with both of you, if that's possible? I see no reason not to fight at 140. On the other hand, it should make no difference if they were to fight at 147.

Unless of course JMM decides to needlessly fatten himself up again. I'm still of the belief that Marquez should've come in at his regular 141 against Floyd and foregone all the rock tossing and overeating, but that's neither here nor there.

    ^This.

Depending on what happens in the Mosley fight, Berto/Ortiz winner is prob the next best move for Pac followed by a short run @ 140lbs, Before he hangs them up.
(Against the top Jr. WW's left at the time, Seeing as we know a Mayweather fight is not happening)

As for JMM, I like the Judah path better for him to try and grab that 4th.
(Then, IF he comes out of that... IF Manny is still around make it happen @ 140)

Does it matter if it's 140 or 147? Manny is stilling to come in at 146-150 on fight night. He just don't want to drain a few pounds and get the best possible advantage. JMM can make the fight at 147 and come in at 138 if he wants to.

Manny was 144 for a fight at 151 against Margarito. There is no minimum where JMM can come in. He can come in as high or low as he wants, provided it's under the weight limit. JMM wants an advantage too...to get Pac to drain a few pounds. Pac does not want to and he holds all the cards.

JMM should just accept the fight won't be at 140.

Yeah, he drinks his own **** which is weird. But he has accomplished quite a bit in the sport, is known as a warrior, is tough as nails, and is a class act outside the ring.

Do you refer to all fighters by the least flattering trait that they have?

Arum has nothing to do with picking what weight Pacquiao fights, its Freddy Roach who decides on that.......and there is'nt any question in my mind that his plan if there is to be a third Marquez fight is to bulk Pacquiao up to weigh in the low 150's fightnight.

The ******* refuses to acknowleadge this could be the case.
Pacquiao did'nt bulk up past 150 lbs for Margarito because he needed as much speed as possible to manuever in and then out........
Overpowering bigger Welters has'nt been the Pacquiao gameplan so far in his stay at welter........

......however, it makes sense to plan to overpower a fighter like Marquez moving up 2 weight classes from 135 lbs to face Pacquiao at 147 lbs.......

The ******* says Pacquiao will be at the same weight fightnight whether the fight is at 140 lbs or 147 lbs.

Thats not true, Freddy Roach knows as much and its the reason why he's insisting a third Marquez fight will be at 147 lbs.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:LOL, Pacroid is so dumb, he openly acknowleadges 140 lbs is his true weight class, but yet will refuse a fight with Marquez take place there.:nut

.......even Ariza's recent interviews on Pacquiao's diet, has had him saying that he overfeeds Pacquiao because Pacquiao has to put on weight during training as opposed to another fighter he works with Chavez Jr. who's diet is totally different because he has to bring down his weight during training camp.

.......and yet, Roach wont allow the PED user to climb into a ring with Juan Manuel Marquez at 140 lbs!:nut

Boom, be open to this fact........Pacquiao since his move up to 147 lbs has'nt faced a fighter moving up to face him.
Every Welter he's faced has been significantly bigger than he is.
It just would'nt make sense to put extra bulk in him in an attempt to overpower a bigger fighter.

Pacquiao's fights with Marquez at 126 lbs and 130 lbs, though he scored knockdowns, he was'nt able to overpower Marquez.
Marquez more than held his own at close range.

Why would'nt Roach add a little bit extra weight on Pacquiao and attempt to just push foward to overpower Marquez with that extra 3 to 5 lbs of mass he could likely gain with Pacquiao officially weighing 147lbs instead of 140 lbs. In two fights already its been proven Pacquiao cant outbox Marquez, so why not increase the size disparity between them and attempt to overpower Marquez?

If I were Roach, I'd add at least 3 lbs of mass on Pacquiao for Marquez than what he's been holding for his fights with Margarito, Cotto, etc......

I'd want Pacquiao heavier fightnight vs Marquez than I would against Margarito.........and to accomplish this, it would'nt be prudent to sign to fight Marquez at 140 lbs.

......and as you can see Boom, I dont venture this forum to troll, I actually back up my opinions and theories with logical reasons that can be debated back and forth.......

You want a dictionary picture of trolling just look at your fellow ******* in this very thread (MAIN) who I have yet to see a single post of his with anything of substance in it.
