It's a good thing lemieux lost tonight, otherwise he'd of faced weak ass
zbik or chav Jr and won, and then had a uni w/ either pirog or God forbid
sergio. His highlighted career fight would've ended badly along with his career. Now he can rebuild and stop loading up on every friggin punch.

Well let's look if its the same posters doing the double standards, you and every one who spends decent time here knows that there's some that just rip on everybody whos down (sort of like the guy whos never been on a one on one fight and pounces the instant some ones getting jumped trip get his kick in) and then there's posters who stay positive twards fighters no mater what...... Now for my reason; david had the tools to beat rubio but didn't, and I think it was the experience that did him in, the rounds he won he won strong, rubio looked like a lamb, from that I gather he will get the ex. And grow from that, now rubio in the other hand looked at times like he was lost or he was losin heart, bet stuck to it and came out on top: that's where my props come in.

Now for the fighters that I would criticize after 1 loss (which I don't remember doing)i would imagen that they finally fought better competition and just got totally exposed all around not just that they were green you dig?

Isn't Roach training Chavez Jr? Don't know how Lemieux would work into that equation when he and Jr fight in the same division.

I see that "certain" posters are still using the race card to their agenda here.

    Very disgraceful....

The guy is 22. Fn 22. And got beaten by an other guy, who has 50 or so fight and his considered 3rd by the WBC. Lemieux needed more experienced and got some tonight. It would've been better if he won through the 12th round, but lost and hopefully learned from it. You think, at 22, that is career is done, that he will never have a title shot? C'mon!

Problem isn't the trainer, the problem is David Lemieux. Trainer, Russ Anber, told him to "Quit wasting energy and quit loading up shots." He then told David to "quit reaching with the right." Lemieux continued to reach with the right and he payed the price. He now joins a list you don't want to be on. Just recently:

    2008: Amir Khan
    2009: Victor Ortiz
    2010: Danny Jacobs
    2011: David Lemieux

Do you even remember what was said when he got shitty decision vs Soto-Karass. No-one was saying "He'll learn from this" or "He needs work, but he'll be back"....It was all just straight "HE'S A BUM" "OVERRATED" OR "****ING HYPEJOB". The point that I am trying to make is why do "certain" fighters have to "LOOK SPECTACULAR" in every-single ****ing round just to get praise...while when other fighters lose and/or look shitty...it's always, "He'll get better" or "Hat's off to his opponent". I remember when Alvarez went 12 rounds with Mathew Hatton....everyone was saying "Alvarez showed heart and toughness for 12 rounds", "Man, that Hatton is tough Mother****er". If Shawn Porter went 12 rounds with Hatton....I can just hear it now...."HE'S A ****ING BUM!!!" I know you recall what was said about Broner in his 20th Pro fight...I Don't even have to repeat it!!!

The point I am making is this....Is it too much to ask for posters to be "FAIR" in their criticism of ALL FIGHTERS. I have numerous threads criticizing and pointing out flaws of Nate Campbell, Sergio Martinez, Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, Joe Calzaghe...and even have 5 threads calling out my favorite fighter for a being a STRAIGHT ***** for ducking Pacquiao. As well as threads praising Donaire, Lemieux and others. I just don't understand why there seems to be ONE SET OF STANDARDS FOR "CERTAIN" FIGHTERS....WHILE HIGHER SET OF STANDARDS FOR OTHERS.

    I don't get it!!!

Well Mike Jones got a gift which allowed him to keep his 0. That should be taken into consideration why more people are angry at him. Heck Bute took much more crap than Jones did x10 after the first fight with Andrade for the same reason why Mike Jones took a lot of heat.
