David Lemieux 2011 hype job so far. :deal with out a doubt

I remember people saying His guy would smash Martinez no problem lol

Real Boxing Fans knew this guy wasnt that good, fun to watch but Montreal Hype JOB with a padded record

He will never beat the elite fighter and to mention Lemieux in the same sentence with martinez was stupid then and now just a laugh

I know he is young etc.. but he and daneil Jacobs are the same. Fighitng to many D-C fighter will get to exposed. He wasnt ready for rubio

Russ ambers game plans was **** for this fight.

    :rofl

FFS, Lemieux is 22 years old. It's not like if his career was over. If a fan cannot post his love for a boxer on a boxing forum, what is it made for?

Oh, I remember, trolling, hater, insulting, etc.

I prefer today to give props to Rubio. He survived the early rounds, adapted well and found how to completely neutrelize Lemieux. He did a great job and anyone who calls Lemieux a hypejob is denying him his moment of glory.

Lemieux is not just a slugger. He's a green fighter whom power took him too far too easily. Now he knows he has to work. The future will tell us what he can really do.

Oh yeah because once you lose one fight on ESB you are then ****, its probably the best thing that could have happened to the guy at this stage, i think going by interviews he was beginning to get a little bit big headed (not a surprise in some ways), lets see if he can come back which im more then sure he can, but **** of with him being crap and finished as some on here will now say

I think this may work out well for him. He knows he can not just bang away. He is more than a slugger and at 22 he has a lot of time left to prove that.

Its his chin though thats not gonna get him far. As soon as i saw the first 20 seconds of the fight i had doubts on his chin. Rubio landed a so so left hook and Lemieux looked as if he was stunned briefly. It was just a lazy left hook too. I thought well maybe he just got caught cold. Sure enough when Rubio landed more he hurt him fast.

I just saw it, think the corner stepped in too soon. this really sucks if he had won he would probably faced martinez this year.

He was probably hyped by some here too much, and it shows one thing that everyone with even a little sense needs to take into account.

Substance > Style. It matters far more who someone has beaten, not how impressive someone is beating them. Appearances are viciously deceptive.
