In real terms Amir is paying McCloskey out of his own pocket but he’s okay with that

Will this even be on Sky you reckon? They've removed everything about this fight from their site which is very weird.

**** the people who say McCloskey's getting the short end of the stick, which he should do anyway seeing as he's the challenger!!

You really can't bring yourself to say anything negative about Khan. It's blatantly obvious that his team are a shower of cowboys.

Remember a few months back before McCloskey was named the 'opponent'? When fighter after fighter turned it down because the offer apparently wasn't very much? Well now Khan's homecoming opponent is gonna get even less than that.

Khan's taking the maximum pay-cut to ensure McCloskey get's a decent purse so this fight goes ahead, so why should I say anything negative?

You should thank Khan for not pulling out.

I sense blind hatred in a lot of posters here.

Why is everyone jumping on Khan? If anyone is to blame its surely Hatton Promotions for their incompetency to put together a decent undercard or am I missing something?

It's not blind hatred, just facing the facts. His team have been a bunch of unprofessional cowboys before the fight was even signed. Why do you think they found it so difficult to find an opponent? Team Khan are a joke, ask Alex Ariza.

Fighter after fighter turned it down?! Like who?

You mean Peterson, who asked for $600,000???? Who the hell was going to pay Peterson that? Peterson is now fighting Victor Cayo for $25K. I bet he feels like a real knob for not taking the fight.

Who else? The first offer to McCloskey was the first offer of the negotiating tactics. The second offer came and it was done. All this Khan's team is stingy bull**** has been blown way way way out of proportion.

McCloskey's still getting his highest pay-day to date. Let me say again, Khan took the maximum pay-cut to ensure McCloskey get's a good purse. Amir is making **** all from this.

Aww poor Amir Khan. This is the same Amir Khan that was a millionaire before even winning a professional fight isn't it?
