In real terms Amir is paying McCloskey out of his own pocket but he’s okay with that

    dont talk bollocks

McCloskeys ticket sales will have covered his purse

Khans taking a pay cut because his amateur team ****ed up the undercard

As for Khans team, if one person had a problem with them id say thats normal. but basically every single other team that deals with them has some problems. its not a coincidence

You think if you go to Bill Gates and ask for a Million, he'll just hand it out to you?

Put yourself in his position. It's his job. He does it to get paid. You think fighters fight for the hell of it?

:lol::lol: Ticket sales don't cover his ****ing purse. His purse was a fixed amount from the start. 0 ticket sales or 10,000, it would have made no difference, he still get's paid his fixed amount!

:patsch It was Hatton Promotions who set up the card, you dunce! ****ing hell, how many clueless people on here are there.

Hattons put the card together - Khans held the purse strings. It they had loosened them a little more and gave Rahman the 100k extra that he wanted then they still would have had their PPV and an extra Million jingles in their pocket.

McCloskey is already loosing the bonus from the Irish PPV. He was getting nothing extra from the UK PPV so why should he lose anything because that has gone pearshaped? Thats not part of their contract.

Party in Casa del Warren tonight I reckon

Penny wise, Pound stupid - the Khan family motto!

Khan held the purse strings? You do know there's a set amount given to Hatton, which he has to split about between the undercard fighters, right?

Give 100K to Rahman?:lol: Dude, you do realise that's how much your fighter, McCloskey is getting, right?

And you're saying Team Khan should give 100K to Rahman, for an undercard fight when they are getting next to nothing anyway?

Both fighters are having to suffer, and if Khan is definitely the one who is suffering most of it.

Although, I feel sorry for McCloskey more, because it's his big shot and he deserves a little more, but that's not the fault of Amir's team, because Amir's taken the Maximum pay-cut to ensure McCloskey's side is happy, and they are now, which is why the fight is on.

That. does. not. cover. his. purse.

So what you're saying is, if McCloskey had sold no tickets on his end, he would get paid nothing?

His purse is a fixed amount!! Ticket revenue goes into whatever other costs and at the end is split on whatever way they decided when the Contract was written up. McCloskey's 5000 or so ticket sales doesn't cover his purse.

Ok then. Khan and his team have done nothing wrong. ever.

Ticket sales of course contribute to the overall pot of money, dont be ridiculous.

Hes losing money from Irish PPV sales is he not?

If McCloskey wasnt in this fight - 5000 of those tckets would remain unsold, say if he had been Peterson. Hes bringing a sizeable chunk of money to the table - couldnt that fixed amount be based off the obvious fact that he was always going to bring a shitload of supporters buying tickets?

If McCloskey was not fighting Khan, no way he brings over 5000 fans so in a weird way Khan is contributing to those ticket sales if you know what i mean.

Laz what people are saying is Mccloskey sold 250k worth of tickets at least. Thats 250k that he brought to the table and wouldnt be there if Khan was fighting Peterson. Therefore, yes he did cover his purse because he brought 250k into the promotion. Why cant you understand what people are saying?

Khan and his team have done nothing wrong? Where did you get that from?

McCloskey's ticket sales don't change his purse though! 5K sales, or 50K sales, McCloskey would still get paid the amount that was told to him and written on the Contract!

Of course McCloskey is, but Khan is losing a lot more, is he not? I'm not feeling sorry for Khan in any way, I'm just trying to be honest here. Khan is the one who's losing £1M to save the fight.

End of the day, they're both making a lot of money out of this so i don't feel sorry for either one of them. If Khan wins, he gets to face Bradley most likely and if McCloskey wins, the world's his oyster.

But who's taken the biggest cut to ensure all others costs are covered and that McCloskey still get's a decent purse? Amir.

Who's to say that 250K is distributed through the fighter's purse? That could go towards paying for the Arena cost, the training or whatever.

If McCloskey didn't bring that 250K in, he still would have got paid his 100K!

We don't know how they've distributed or used that revenue from the Tickets.
