What a shock that the polls are in Joe's favor ..Yeah I can see now how credible these polls are ..In no way would this be a blow out but I think SRL out works Joe ..At 168 its a diffrent ball game from Welter ..

Hagler was shot when Leonard fought him.SHOT.That's the only reason Leonard chose to fight Hagler when he did after publicly talking about fighting him for at least 6 years previous. If Leonard had chosen to fight Hagler when he began discussing fighting Marvin,Marv would have stopped him and he knew it.That's why he didn't fight him earlier. At 168,Calzaghe decisions Leonard.Leonard always had problems with southpaws, and JC had great handspeed at that weight. And at 168,Leonard wouldn't be fighting a weight-drained(and limited)Donny LaLonde.

Battle of the duckers... Joe wins. Yes, prime for prime. Joe had virtually endless stamina, and that's what this fight would boil down to.

Srl is ahead of Calz on the pol, but still no good agurment why he would win! Well, guess its just another normal day on esb

Yep it is such a surprise to see an American fighter selected in one of these polls. Which U.S fighter from the past will pugilist64 choose to match up against Calazghe I wonder.

I think it is a measure of Calzaghe's greatness that he receives so much hate from a section of the US posters on this site. Only the Klitchko's and Pacman generate similar levels of hate.
There seems to be a direct proportionality between boxing greatness and hatred generated.

if they meet at their peak at a neutral weight(154) Leonard wins by decapitation

Kalule was smacking him all over the shop in 81 at 154 & Go watch the Kevin Howard fight you MUG:yep

Thats if you even have heard of him as he forced Leonard into another self imposed RETIREMENT after he stuck him on his arse at 154 in 1984 & Kevin Howard was a hand picked journeyman:deal

:huh Exactly WHO did this Joe Calziggy fight again?
Anyone in Hagler, Hearns, LaLonda league?

Where Sugar throws crisp, well timed, prefectly executed punches, I can't describe what to call the arm flailing thing that Calzaggy does...

    SRL KO 2:rofl:rofl:good

There is a lot of stupid ****ers on this forum. Leonard would quickly outclass Calzaghe and I doubt he would lose a round.

at 168? Where Calzaghe is rated top 1-3 greatest SMW of all time? I'm not even a Calzaghe fan but you have to take into consideration the SRL that fought at 168 and not the SRL that fought in the lower weights.
