:D What a character he was. That forum seems like a lifetime ago.

Hey Jetski, hope all is well in your World.

I'm currently searching my computer for my favorite Adamek-Briggs picture, both gladiators splattered in blood, at war with one another - I'm sure if anybody, you can appreciate it.

If you're still applying brush to canvass, I'm finally ready to have your art hang on my wall.

I'll send you my contact info through a private message when I find it. :good

Edit* Not enough posts to send a PM :nono Jetski, send me a PM with your email, please.

Sorry for the OT, fellows, GO TOMASZ GO! :bbb

"It's a shame this clown can claim he beat Tyson."

He doesn't "claim" he beat Tyson. He beat the **** out of that no good bum, Tyson's dirty tactics and all. Note: It looks like Joe Cortez was still an honest referee back in those days.

Tyson was winded and absorbed too many bombs. McBride had Golota in trouble in the first round as well. He's a decent heavyweight but it's possible the booze messed him up.

McBride is not really a legit boxer, in my opinion. Maybe he tries to be somewhat, here and there, but he probably knows he's not really got the world class talent underneath the conditioning, so why put the effort into getting in condition?

I see Adamek, at this amazing weight and condition, really putting on a clinic til McBride is TKOed mid rounds.

McBride is a step down from Adamek's last few opponents, but he's staying active and sharp as he waits for his big fight in September.

And his current weight (and implied conditioning) is very impressive and encouraging. Adamek is one HELL of a fighter. I still want to see him, one day, avenge his loss to that #$#$#$ing Chad Dawson in some weight division before he retires. I am sorry but that loss is a thorn in my flesh. LOL

Why does Adamek keep fighting these old slobs?! What is the point? With all the HW fights he has....It's apparent he is very against obesisty, and must fight it!
I know he can move, fight, and is a tough guy, but eventually Adamek is going to hit one of these guys, and there going to fall on him, and Adamek's career is going to be over! Guy takes to many risks.....

Adamek says that he needs to be in training mode. He cant sit in a home for more than few days. Thats why he fights often, sometimes with medicore opposition.

He fight's the guys to stay busy until he gets a big fight (like he has with Vitali in September) and to test himself against very tall opponents (McBride and Grant being Klitschko-sized fighters). Maddalone was a stay busy fight against a guy who's very popular in NJ.

Adamek should fight Peter or maybe even Chambers. I much rather those over the bums he's facing now. McBride didn't even impress me against a shot Tyson. This is NOT good preparation for a Klitschko but I wish Adamek the best. Then again, I understand facing these kind of opponents to stay active and not take too much punishment so still, facing Chambers wouldn't be a bad idea assuming he would be available.

I see. It's good to fight bigger guys to get ready for Vitali, but other than size there nothing like Vitali. Vitali throws a lot of punches, keeps his hands down, has good stamina, moves, etc.
Think he should have mixed it up a little more. Fight maybe 1 big guy, and then fight a younger guy that can move a little. For as much hate as Vitali gets...Let's be serious in the fact that for a big guy Vitali is supremely gifted. It's insane to see somebody 6'7 with good balance, that fights like Floyd Mayweather with an awesome work rate on top of it, and also has plenty of power.

I do think Adamek should be careful. This guy is a fat slob, but all joking aside it only takes 1 good punch from somebody that big. Outweighs him by 70 pounds. If Arreola wasn't such a crap fighter he would have knocked Adamek out in the first 3 rounds.
