Round 4 Stieglitz comes forward trying to land a 1-2, while Gevor greets him with fanning shots from the sides. Gevor slaps his way off the ropes and circles left a couple of paces away. Stieglitz starts tapping him in the face with his jab, and grazing with his right. The crowd is loving it. Gevor ties up as Stieglitz slowly shuffles inside on him. Gevor comes forward with his sidewinding slaps and Stieglitz keeps trying to punch up the middle, but finds Gevor already inside and leaning on him before he can land much (and likewise, Gevor's slaps aren't landing around Stieglitz's extended arms). Horrible match-up all around, taking styles stance and temperament into consideration. Stieglitz long-steps with his lead foot into a right uppercut from fairly far away and manages to land it on Gevor's chest. Ugh! 39-37 Stieglitz
Round 5 Stieglitz is flipping out straight jabs and rights as Gevor comes barging in with his fists slapping around the sides. Gevor is getting clocked with a good number of shots but Stieglitz doesn't have room or leverage to put much power on them. They're just scoring (and titillating the Magdeburg faithful). Stieglitz again lands the right uppercut to the chest, which has been his best weapon so far. Stieglitz jabs high. Gevor dances on his toes, circles left, and jabs to the body. Gevor turns his feet in toward Stieglitz and then dips back, slipping Stieglitz's jab in a bit of a showoff daredevil display. Stieglitz is coming forward, throwing soft jabs when he steps with his left foot and then trying to surprise Gevor with a hard right cross as he brings the corresponding foot over with it. :dead 49-46 Stieglitz
Shitty fight. I really dont like Gevor“s style but Stieglitz not that good either. I have it for Robert 49-46
I remember the first time I saw Stieglitz. He was on the undercard of Briggs-Ibragimov. He was fighting an "older" black fighter that had a huge beard if I remember right.:yep
Round 6 Gevor comes in slapping at the body and leaning against Stieglitz. Gevor keeps drifting into the ropes and getting lined up with straight shots and wildly countering with high-reaching hooks before needing to grab and pull Stieglitz in. He is warned a few times. Body jabs by Gevor from outside, then an overhand left. Stieglitz blocking, coming forward slowly. Left uppercut by Gevor. Now a straight lead left, lands on the chin. Stieglitz steps forward and throws short left hook/right hand combos. Gevor dives inside and gets thwacked in the back of the head with a Stieglitz right. Apparently Gevor thought there was a headbutt in there somewhere, complaining. 58-56 Stieglitz
