I wouldn't go that far...but yeah I was hoping to see something similar to the Ornelas fight since Gevor is on that level.
Round 7 Stieglitz comes forward flicking his hands out into Gevor's face. Gevor ties him up and spins him into the ropes, talking trash. Lots of excited chanting and clapping now. It seems to egg Stieglitz on as he drapes himself over Gevor and works his hands repeatedly, taking lots of short stabs at him. Gevor tries a lead left to the body, but Stieglitz steps out of the way. Gevor keeps coming forward and eats a counter hook. They trade in the last few seconds as Gevor bangs away to the body. 68-65 RS
Round 8 Stieglitz jabs. Gevor uses evasive maneuvers, jerking his upper body around while circling with his hands low. Stieglitz throws a right hand that is ducked and slipped under. Gevor is whining to the ref about head clashes even though he's the one diving in. Gevor tries to slap Stieglitz in the back while ducking and circling to his left behind him. Stieglitz throws a right, then steps back as Gevor ducks and tries to counter low, then resets his feet and tries to catch Gevor coming back up with another right. Gevor is throwing lead lefts and double right jabs coming forward, all blocked. Gevor throws a high left that hangs over Stieglitz's shoulder and they tie up. Gevor has a right jab countered with a left jab plunked on his face. Another tie-up. Stieglitz throws a right between the gloves and a hard left hook just before the bell. 78-74
Their heads were clashing again. Gevor throws him to the ground and hits after that. AA was disqualified for that
Round 9 Gevor rocked by a hard-thrust jab, and Stieglitz knocks him back into the corner with a follow-up right. Someone yells in English for a knockout, maybe part of the champ's corner as they show a graphic of his trainer leaning on the ring apron.. Stieglitz does in fact go for one, swarming all over Gevor who grabs him and wrestles him around and down to the ground, then hits him as he's going down. The referee checks to make sure Stieglitz is OK and calls time in. Gevor ducks and ties Stieglitz up. Lead hand lead to the body lands for Gevor but he pays for it with a couple of drumrolls across the back of his down-turned head. Stieglitz follows and jabs, landing at a good clip. Another jab creates an opening as Gevor is stunned and Stieglitz presses in throwing hard and creating noise. Gevor is slapping and grabbing, abandoning the running tactic as it's just getting him jabbed in the face. 10-9 Stieglitz
Based on the 9th, it looks like there's a possibility of a KO in the championship rounds. There better be something exciting..
Round 10 Stieglitz comes forward slapping high. Gevor slaps low. Stieglitz is flashing jabs and rights over and over. Gevor reaches out and pulls him in. Gevor is trying to rough Stieglitz up but is too small; burying his arms elbow deep against/around Stieglitz and pinching them together to try and lift him up. Gevor throwing hooks into his back while spinning him. Gevor keeps up the wannabe rough stuff and has a point taken away. Time in, and Stieglitz metes out his own punishment with a straight right hand. Then a big left hook to the face. Gevor again gets him in an octopus grip and kamikaze bombs them both to the ground (Gevor on top). The referee sends them to neutral corners. Maybe a DQ here.. Stieglitz has cuts on his face (either from headbutts or breaking Gevor's fall, not sure), being checked out.
