    Cotto is getting caught, not finding his way inside. Malignaggi is flashing out jabs and flurries while circling with stutter-steps around Cotto. A few shots getting through for Cotto but Malignaggi landing a lot more this round. Double jab to the face by Malignaggi.

    3 -1 Malinaggi, Cotto is getting his spots, but overall Paulie is controlling the distance and flurrying then moving out. Cotto's corner is right, his abandoning of the jab to lunge hooks is not winning him any rounds early.

    ****ing HELL skysports commentary is terrible

    they seem SHOCKED at how Malignaggi is boxing and throwing combo's......talking about how hes ''stopped being a brawler'' and the new trainer is helping him.when the **** was malignaggi EVER a brawler! hes been fighting like this his entire career

    Cotto is coming on with some stiff jabs and the ones Malignaggi doesn't slip clearly have an effect, sending sweat flying out of the braids. Malignaggi triple jabs while circling. Cotto throws an overhand right wide. Malignaggi has a few jabs blocked and then lands a few on Cotto's face. They come together and clash heads, and Malignaggi is cut and blinking blood out of his eye. No big deal, says the doc. Cotto pounces anyway. Several jabs from Malignaggi. Flurry to the body. Cotto lands a jab and a right hand but isn't enough to steal it.
