    Morales looks good in spots, really wish he didn't eat that shot in the 1st that shut his eye... maybe would could have seen something special tonight

    Maidana sticks his jab and circles left. Morales tries to train his own jab on him. Right cross to the chest by Morales. He doesn't keep the offense flowing, however. He is pulling the trigger very infrequently. Maidana mauls his way in and digs classic Mexican-style left hooks to the body of the Mexican hero. Morales is moving away and slaps Maidana with a right hand to the ribs while evading. Maidana pushes him to the ropes and works the body, mixing in clubbing right hands behind the head. Morales throws an almost-vintage 1-2 to the body. Morales now gets Maidana pushed into a corner, peppering shots. Nice jab by Morales. Maidana answers with body shots. Good combo by Morales
