Michael Watson won a few events in his time, he has to be considered surely?

Won the event and the fight against Benn, won the event against McCallum and won BOTH events against Eubank before his career was tragically cut short.

Then 20 years later he came back in another sport and won the event at the London Marathon.

Surely he has to be number 1?

I'd like to move to motion that Yuri Gamboa automatically wins every event given that fact that he is a 'G' as the youth of today say. What say you?

I believe Samuel Peter can also Event Helenius on Saturday should he give another 'necks' interview. Anyone else see any events occurring this weekend?

A good night of eventing with two underdogs going into their opponents backyards and winning the event.

Palacios was robbed in Poland despite a clear win and is well worthy of his event status.

Karim El-Ouzghari also overcame a biased ref to win the event against a lackluster John Murray

A case could also be made for Nakash EVT12 Huck.

Consider that Sam Peter may have been up on the cards before the 9th should mean that he is eligable for an EVT win.

Has Golota been mentioned in this thread? He has more EVT wins than anyone.

Gevor EVT Stieglitz after getting DQ'd, beating up the ref and being ejected by security. Sounds like an ATG event win

Decisive event win for Morales tonight. Also, Lou DiBella appears to want to follow in Larry Merchant's footsteps, as he just tweeted: "Maidana the winner. MORALES THE STORY!!!"

I'll be honest, I called that one wrongly. I thought the only chance for a Morales event win was to absorb a life-altering beatdown but he certainly proved everyone wrong
