If anybody deserved to win that fight, it was Erik Morales. That was a very special performance. I can't stand Maidana, that dirty scumbag.

Anytime a huge underdog who was supposed to get annihalated goes on to put a respectable effort and clearly loses a competitive fight there wil be at least a few people claiming he gt robbed this is why I love ESB. Sp expected. And I didn't see the fight. Glad Morales showed once again what a warrior he is. But thi is kinda expecting Andrey

Had morales by one round. But really, you can't say it's a robbery or anything, because it was an excellent and very close fight. So whatever. Kudos to both men
no he didn't. it was a valiant effort, but he fell short at the end there. i had it by a couple of rounds to maidana. 116-112 seems a bit much for a close that was competitive most of the way, and doesn't do Morales's effort much justice, but it's about right. Atleast one judge threw in a draw so it wasn't a UD.
Maidana won 7-5 on my scorecard, i think i have overrated Maidana's punching power, im a still a fan though because he is never in bad fights.
Yeah, he did win the fight. Rolled or avoided most of maidana's incoming and landed the cleaner more effective shots. Close fight, but I gave it by a round to Erik. Unbelievable performance.
