God, I f#cking LOVE EL TERRIBLE! Fighting with ONE EYE and took Maidana's best shots, stood toe to toe, and still didn't get hurt badly. And the best of all, he didn't need any crooked ref to save him from a TKO. And he could have won this fight, but I knew the judges would give it to Maidana. That's what I call a WARRIOR.
Khan knocked Maidana down and won his fight. If the fight was stopped in R10 it would have been premature, but he silenced his critics that thought he would get KO'ed after the first hard shot he took (he didn't even take a kd). And Morales makes Khan look bad? I think Morales made himself look amazing. If anything he might have made Maidana look bad, but this performance only reinforced what I already knew about Maidana.
OR maybe he is just a ****ing Legend... a God amongst men. He did beat PAC once... who else can say that?
Nah...Cause Khan actually beat Maidana...And put him down. Morales did well to win 5 or 6 rounds in this fight, despite getting his eye shut. Heroic, but in no way better than Khans effort.
Now Imagine a 28-29 year old version of Erik Morales that is seasoned to fight at 135-140. Imagine what an ATG Legend will do to Khan and Maidana.
Umm no. Khan beat Maidana, close but clear. Morales lost close. Unclear, but lost. Khan's still a china jaw.
Morales makes all normal humans look bad Khan should not be blamed for trying to live up to such an impossible standard !
