Does Morales's display vs Maidana change your view of Pacquiao-Morales II and III?

People said the guy was shot back in 2006.

It's 2011, and he just went life and death with one of the most dangerous young fighters out there.

Does this change your opinion of Pac-Morales II and III, or not?

    :think

the rest did him good and the move up in weight his legs looked much more planted where when you look at the third pac fight his legs were just not there however i believe the main thing is hes got that hunger and fire back because when it started getting tough he dug deep and always came out of it were as with the second pac fight i just dont think he wanted as much as he should of

Morales was nearly totally shot, but.....Maidana isn't that good + was ill-prepared. I will concede though that Morales probably had more in the tank against Pacquiao in the second and third fights than I initially thought.

It may be time to accept that maybe at that point, Pacquiao was THAT DAMN GOOD at 130.

not at all. i saw pac's improvements in that fight from the first fight. i give him full credit for avenging his loss and consider it a great win. if they'd never made that stupid raheem fight, which was one of the worst cases of matchmaking in history, no-one would be degrading it

You don't think Morales wanted it in the 2nd Pac fight? :huh I think he fought like a beast. It was a very competitive, very violent fight, and he took more punishment (including his 1st ever legit knockdowns) than ever before. I think he walked through fire that night trying to win, he simply got outgunned.

what kind of pacfart logic is this, so a guy comes back and puts on a good performance against a C level fighter who couldn't hold his jock strap in his prime and all of a sudden he isn't shot.

no you dont understand what i was sayin i mean when his legs were giving away he didnt have it in him at the time to drag himself through it when i watched him last night there were times when you could see his legs just starting to give way but i feel he had the fire and will back in him to carry on but dont forget that could just be with the weight morales destroyed himself to make 130

Morales looked like utter **** tonight. He looked lethargic, he was busted up in the first ****ing minute, his punches were slow and he was unable to get off first for most of the night. What we learned from the fight was how overrated Maidana is, especially his power, and how much heart Morales has. But he is undoubtedly shot to hell, on par with Roy Jones.

Was he shot when Pacquiao beat him? I don't think so, but he certainly was not prime, either. The beatings Pacquiao put on him probably have as much to do with his current condition as anything else. Even the fight Erik won was not an easy night at the office.

Morales was no way shot inthe 2nd fight, he is the exact same fighter that Pac fought in the first fight. It is so obvious how the gloves too its toll on Morales.

Only idiots would say the gloves had not effect on Morales. Even Morales was so convinced it had an effect, he decided to wear Cleto Reyes in the 3rd fight himself.
