Morales-Maidana scorecards please!

I agree with this and thanks for the scorecard. Many people "OOOOO" and "AAAAAH" over workrate but if the punches don't land then it's meaningless. Effective aggression is in the scoring criteria anyways.

 

I had it 7 rounds to 5 Maidana, the last 2 rounds won the fight for El Chino on my scorecard, great ****ing fight.

 

In all fairness you have to accept the judges in that fight. Some of those rounds where just so close. I found myself being bias to Morales so I couldnt keep too much track of it, but in several rounds I laughed and said "Who the hell wins that?". Maidana getting 116-112 isnt him winning by a large margin, its him notching some of the close rounds in the eyes of some of the judges.

 

Had it a draw but could hav easily swayed 2 rounds on Morales favour. Then again, I had money on Morales by decision so may have been biased. That and he is one of my top 5 fav fighters ever.

 

don't remember the rounds but i remember having it even after 10 and then Maidana took the last 2.

TBH after round 10 i expected Morales to sweep rounds 11 and 12 I thought he had him figured out. Maidana dug deep and I give him credit for that, not every young fighter has the heart to do it..


I also had money on Morales by decision.

 

I still can't ****ing believe Morales made it to a decision... and a close one at that...

Same as the two judges who scored for Maidana. I thought he won pretty clearly, frankly.
