Booradley missed the part where Gevor kicked Sturm's ass who's ranked ahead of the likes of Sylvester, Pavlik or Pirog and only behind Martinez at Middleweight.

Boxing is a sport and it's bounded rules.

 

I've noticed that you fall in love with rankings and compubox numbers when they favor your argument. When they go against you, you make threads about how meaningless they are.

Every middleweight is ranked above Pavlik at 160 because Pavlik is no longer a middleweight. You're argument on that front is a lot like me pointing out the Pavlik is WBC #1 contender at 168 while these other guys aren't ranked at all.

Pirog might be able to handle Sturm at 160, and Martinez would beat him up. Sturm at #2 is correct with Pavlik and Abraham gone from the division.

Sturm won a close decision over Gevor. There was one goofy score card, but so what, the other two judges got it right. 115-113 Sturm.

Gevor couldn't even land flush on a stationary ref, so no surprise he didn't win the fight.
