Morales has much more balls and is more exciting to watch and willing to challenge himself more than Floyd. He's better for boxing clearly and I'm not sure who's greater but Morales has the better wins(MAB 1 though Morales really won the second fight, Pacquiao 1st fight).

accomplishment wise no but morales surpassed floyd based on fighting guys that are threats. i don't rank ATG but imo, morales is closer to floyd than floyd is to pacquiao on all time rankings. for example, if morales is a top 70, floyd is around top 50 while pac is a top 25. his pacquiao win alone surpasses anything floyd has on his resume.

Floyd wishes he was a bad ass like Morales. He's a wannabe badass but fails miserably at trying to be one lol. He's still a great fighter but no Morales in terms of willingness to fight the best. Morales is better for boxing without question.

 People on this site are ****ing idiots. Morales ranks higher than Mayweather? Get the hell out of hear :rofl Morales is my boy but this is ridiculous. Mayweather has gone up more divisions and has beaten more world champions than Morales. Balls my ass. Mayweather has gone up 5 weight classes. If he doesn't have balls, name how many fighters in his era have beaten more champions than him? The only one I can think of is De La Hoya.

    no just just no :nono
Floyd was ranked by ESPN number 48 BEFORE he fought Hatton. Nothing Morales has done since brings him up the rankings much.

tough question. I haven't looked that far into, but I got Manny in the top 30 and Floyd top 35. I'd have to see a full list though. For the rest of them, I'm not sure yet

What came first the chicken or the egg?

If a tree falls down in a forest, and no one was around to hear it, does it make a sound?

If Maidana didn't have his power, is he still a threat?

well i can admit that i have no sufficient knowledge of the complete ATG fighters to make a list. but IMO, pac has surpassed floyd at the time when he started dominating the higher weights while floyd remained stagnant. i can live with floyd as a top 35 but pac should be much higher than 30 just based on what he accomplished.

You people got to be real here . . .

In terms of legacy of being a true blooded ring warrior . . . yes Morales is way ahead.

But in terms of accomplishments inside the ring Floyd over Morales.

    It would be a massacre.

Mayweather should feel shame when he watches a legend like Erik Morales perform.... a waste of talent Morales is certainly not, fighting for honour before money > money before honour.

These guys are th same age (34) yet only 1 is still in his true prime (FMJ) & its the other one (EM) thats more active & fighting with the same passion as when he was 24 despite being worn out..... amazing.
