Casey's fight with Rigo was only on RTE because of "independent finance".

There's no mention of it on their website, not checked their FB page.

Thinking about it more...... it's a big risk for them to take. For their other broadcasts they've used Showtime's feed and would have some kind of deal with them per purchase perhaps. Most of the money will go to the fighters and they just cream the rest off the top.

With this they'll have to do everything, I'm obviously speculating here but 50k buys (apparently their average) at £15 leaves you with £750k - not a right lot once you've got the set, presenters, commentators and all the other expenses.

It wouldn't surprise me if they rejected it for this reason..... then Khan will have to go back to Sky with his tail between his legs or fight for free - which he obviously won't do.

Saj has confirmed it's on Primetime. He said that they tried going to ITV but they had other things on that night, they tried negotiating it for SS1 but sky refused and Team Khan said they didn't want it on SS3.

I have been defending Khan as i thought others were taking it way over the top but Khan should grow a pair and tell his 'advisors' that they are ruining his image and no doubt have lost him some fans. I mean Primetime over SS3, are u kidding me? Missed a major chance to earn some more fans IMO.

Deluded? Are you joking? Show me one post where i have been deluded. While others have been jumping to conclusions i have waited until events have unfolded and now we know the full picture i have stated that they are wrong, while you have been looking for any excuse to **** on Khan.

I’m tired of Khan Promotions’ behaviour. To me it’s the Paul Williams effect – no fanbase but has decided they’re a star. Khan hasn’t packed out a venue since he left Warren. GBP papered the venues for his two fights in the US. He’s not a star by any description.

He’s a celebrity who needs to swallow his pride and work with a better promoter than a taxi driver.
