    Wow, I only saw the 2nd half of it and it seems like morales was really slow, especially at the end but watching the highlights his hand speed was actually much better than I though. Those counters are pretty crisp and accurate, he just doesnt have the power he did at the lower weights. But damn did he not surprise the **** out of a lot of people.

    Big uppercut from Maidana in round 1. Morales last the eye from the first round and still almost pulled off the upset.

    Yup and Maidana's punches are so wide. He's only effective if you stand in front of him. I can't wait to see the Morales/Maidana fight. I can't believe Morales did so well. I mean, Morales lost to David ****ing Diaz. Now I know why Morales so confident before the fight.

    lol. some people need some perspective. it was a good fight, but Maidina won it. He brutalised Eric in the last two rounds especially. I can understand maybe people scoring it a draw, at best, but no way did Morales win that fight.

    I dont know man, a lot of the quality punches were coming from Morales.

    He had absolutely no repect for Maidana's power either :lol:

    I had it as draw personally, but I could see how people had morales edging it.

    i scored the fight on coming forward, constant fighting although all the real clean shots in my mind were from Morales from 5th round onwards however, i scored the fight 116-113 for Maidana. Just thought he was busier even though a load of his shots weren't on target, wild flourishes but thats how i scored it.
