Calzaghe said he would fight Jones for the crown Jewels or something to that effect

You realise you just insulted our queen right? A woman chosen by god himself to lead our nation. Your "presidents" are NOTHING compared to the queen, NOTHING.

'Calzaghe's answer is to move up to light-heavyweight, even if it means leaving home for the United States where he believes an attacking southpaw style would win many new admirers.

But light-heavy just happens to be Jones's domain, even though the American has temporarily made a successful transition to Lewis's class.

"I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he's ever had," said Calzaghe. "But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown jewels I wouldn't want to risk it."'

Everyone has had Roy shook. Calzaghe should be embarrassed he couldnt put away ancient Jones.

it was all dependant on the circumstances at the time. when roy and bhop were on top they had too much to lose and wouldn't take a risky fight like joe, no matter that he could pay them more than they could get elsewhere. joe should get props for giving them an opportunity when they later came crawling to him looking to reclaim some lost glory off of him. instead he gets accused of cherry picking because they were older, and it doesn't register with the haters that he always wanted to fight them

She's old, even for a Calzaghe opponent.

Of course, you guys will insist she's in her prime.

Calzaghe couldn't put away an old Roy Jones and got knocked down himself. Meanwhile, Tarver, Johnson, and Danny Green easily demolished Roy Jones by KO. Then again, those fighters would have easily demolished Calzaghe as well.
