I think Khoder may be telling lies, i cant see the profits being more in Brissy than in Sydney unless the gate sales are down and PPV sales are up due to it not being in Sydney and Sydney residents not being able to watch it other than PPV. Be good if these guys could bring their morals with them to the table and cut the rot out.

he is saying that this fight is better then the first in terms of revenue, not because it is in Brisbane and not Sydney just that has generated more money. I think it it had been held in Sydney it would have been even bigger again but that is not what khoder is saying

After the first bout went from the 'biggest mismatch in Australian boxing history' to a surprise Wood KO win, I would have thought the rematch should have netted much, much more than the first bout wherever it was held.


The thing was Wood's management maintained that the return bout could have made more money in Sydney. In fact they were quoted as saying Wood would make about half a million LESS because it was being held in Brisbane.

Never called DannyBoy, the site focus was mostly on Mundine and because of ties to Mundine we didnt wish to pursue any interview with Danny other than the one interview with Jeff a few days before Danny got droped for the 1st time.

Tempers have boiled over at a heated press conference on the eve of Anthony Mundine’s rematch with Garth Wood in Brisbane.

The pair exchanged insults during interviews before the official weigh-in, with Mundine calling Wood a dirty fighter and vowing to take revenge for his shock loss when they meet at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre tomorrow night.

Wood hit back saying he’d have more surprises for Mundine when they met in the ring, before the pair had to be separated after posing for photos post-weigh in.

Mundine accused wood of head-butting him today and the situation became worse when Wood’s father Barry hurled a barrage of insults towards the Mundine camp.

It all sets the scene for a big night when the pair meet in the ring tomorrow night.

I like Garth, seems like a good bloke, But his Dad and Brother should just stay out of it, they did the same last fight, Garth is a big boy, he doesnt need his Old man and brother making him look like a goose
