DeGale video response to Groves...

There's still over a month to go to this grudge match, I wonder what stunt will be next.

 

It's that juvenile and pathetic that it actually becomes amusing.

Degale is like a really chavy 10 year old trapped in a mans body.

He still wins this by late ko though unfortunatly.

 

I thought it was funny. I liked how he put the word **** on his boxing shorts.

 

Degale is just a pathetic boy. He wants to be Naz, but he's not got the charm (or the performances). He thinks he's James Toney but he's not got the attitude. He's just a twat.

 

I like DeGale, he backs up his talk in the ring and I can see him going onto world honours. Although even if he beats Groves (which I rckon he will) I still hope Groves gets the opportunity to move on with his career too. Unlike when Calzaghe beat Reid Joe went on to better stuff and Robins career stalled for a while.

 

Am I the only one who thinks degale is uglier - no homo

 

Tend to agree (also no homo). It's hardly Muhammad Ali talking about Frazier's looks. When you think about it and look at guys below, Groves probably isnt in top 80% of ugly boxers.

For people who say they should concentrate on fighting not videos, they wouldnt have had anything to do with them. This would be their fanboys' work. Just so happens Groves' are more talented.

I don’t hate the guy at all. I think he’s a grade-A bell-end, but he’s nothing to do with my life. My opinion of his talent is much more realistic than a lot of posters on here: fast hands, little power, slaps with his punches and likes to admire his work a little too much. He’s never given a performance that is outright jaw-dropping, he’s never scored a genuine KO stoppage and he still makes serious mistakes. The last thing I expect from a relative novice, but when people say he’s a guaranteed titlist? Bollocks – he’s shown nothing to suggest he can compete at that level.

 

Is it just me or is the Gentleman better looking than DeGale? (no homo)

Lighten up people - just because DeGale is ridculing Haye and Hayes camp in the video - everyone gets oh so defensive.

Of course DFTaylor dosent like the video - he even gets offended when I point out that Haye was in a life or death struggle with little Forgemeni.


DeGale is a arse hole - but its amusing to watch a guy make a **** of himself on TV in front of millions.

Groves might be mimicking Haye - but lets remeber everyone is influenced by the people they spend time around -

Hayes style is a result of when he was growing up watching Roy Jones Jnr in the 90's.

So Haye is mimicking people to.

Groves might not have all the talent to pull off the Roy Jones style and maybe he should be more orthodox - but if he looks to Haye as a role model he is going to try and model himself on Haye somewhat.

Haye is more suited to the Roy Jones style - but dosent have the speed of foot that Roy had.
