    No they didn't.

It was in no ones interests to have the fight on the same weekend as the Royal wedding. Nothing to do with Khan.

I thought what happened was; the Khan fight was scheduled for mid-April. So if they pushed it back after that, then it conflicted with the royal wedding. So then they had to push it back further than that and it just ended up in June. Not sure if it matters anyway, because Wlad would have been injured sure, but that was the talk a couple of months ago.

No Wlad was only ever interested in April 30th - that was the date Germany television wanted

:yep - this is the first I've heard any different.

khan was promised this date for months even before we knew who he was fighting or who was on the undercard. if he wasn't given the slot then haye and wlad still could have taken it.

    here it comes....

April 16 was never an option with the venues.

I can't remember the ***an fight being on PPV.

It was the same night Froch beat Pascal on ITV and Pacquiao beat De La Hoya which was on Sky.

Harrison fought Rogan on the same card as Khan, but for the life of me I can't remember if it was on Sky.

Who will actually pay for this fight and not use alternative measures to watch it? I'll happily pay for a good card or even a good match up but won't be paying for this, hopefully this bombs.

Khan's management have missed a step here, they could have put him the shop window to build up the Bradley fight and sell far more PPVs in that fight to more than compensate for any loss here. Khan is destined for relative obscurity compared to what he could have become. What PPV numbers did the Maidana fight do???

i'm guessing the maidana ppv did well because dont forget the whole james degale-paul smith card was part of the package.

I'd guess the same, Khan if managed right should have been built into Hatton level popularity/PPV numbers though, maybe not yet but on the way to that level.

remember the Maidana fight on PPV was added to Warren's Magnificent 7 the second one.

remember it was previously titled as Gr8 Britain vs the World then when Chisora-Wlad was called off it was called King Khan and the Brit Pack.

if the Maidana fight had been advertised on its own there was no chance in hell it would have made that much!

The decision to go on Primetime, was incredibly stupid. It would be very interesting to compare their eventual earnings from Primetime with what they would have got from SkySports 3, and see if it really was worth it to shun the **** load of viewers they would have got with Sky.

Anyway, I shouldn't give two shits about what they earn. I'll be resorting to other measures to watch the fight. Measures that won't leave me £15 out of pocket. Because that's all it comes down to, really.
