Alot of stupid Americans see dark skinned Mexicans and assume all Latinos or anyone with a hispanic last name is dark or non-white. They forget that Spanish is a European language and that Argentina is 90% white

    It isn't just Americans, *******.

Plenty of "Latinos" from throughout Latin America assume that anyone with a Spanish last name is non-white.

    This...^

most argentine's are of italian decent, like manu ginobili

Serigo is probably at least half dego...which in the west is WHITE!!!

And just to clarify, Spanish, as in from Spain, is not Mexican, as in Indio, he is not MEXICAN! Spanish people are a form of European white people, just like French, Italian, ect...

Hey dorks, just go to any Mediterranean country and you will see that everyone has an olive complexion and is still part of the white race. Sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with so many people that they feel a need to identify everyone with a color or race. Who cares? When we die, we will all rot into a nasty dark green color and smell like crap, regardless of race.

Don't forget Joe Montana and Dan Marino (both have Spanish surnames) two of the greatest latino quarterbacks to ever play football.

This is a pathetic thread. Of course he is not a "Great White Hope" that is an American invention due to the extreme racism that existed in America those many decades ago. The rest of the world doesn't hold the same sentiments as America, they tend to celebrate their Nationality over something so stupid. So Martinez being mostly, if not completely white is irrelevant. To him he IS Argentinian and doesn't wear his race as some badge, rather he wears his NATIONALITY! The only place this does not happen in is America. Great White Hope existed in America between AMERICANS.

why in the hell would he waste his time asking such a dumbass question? He is Argentinian... I doubt he even cares about race as much as the people in this thread do.

The term "white hope" reffered to to anglo whites in the U.S . You can say Martinez is a full spaniard that still does not make him anglo. Learn before posting stupid threads like this one.
