Arum not naming any opponents for Rios yet, its been 2 months since his victory over Acosta, its obvious he's waiting for Soto vs Antillon 2.

what do you guys think of this fight? its gonna be explosive is what it think!

    I haven't heard anything?

i heard Rios doesn't plan on staying at lightweight long as its pretty hard for him to make weight.

The only time i heard this was when John Murray mentioned it on the build up show to his last fight , since then ive found nothing on it .

    Quote John Murray

" the world title picture will be wide open when Soto vacates and moves up "

    ???

Any combination of JMM, Rios, or Soto has fight of the year potential written all over it.

Rios should move up soon. He's definitely drained at 135.

If the Soto fight is at 135 then it should be his last fight at that weight before taking on a Maidana or Judah at 140

Loved it! Fight of the Year so far. I wish Morales won, but still a great achievment for him.

About level for me with Hopkins-Pavlik in all-time favourites.

Its not a smart business move for them to fight now.

If Soto fights Rios now, Soto KO's Rios, and that will hurt both of their careers, cause Rios will be exposed as an overrated champion, and Soto will be feared by the other big name fighters even more than he already is now, and wont be able to get the big fights cause he'll be even more avoided.

Soto is supposed to move up because of weight issues. Also, his mandatory will be his cousin, Antonio Demarco.
Personally, I think Soto's a little underrated and would peg him as the favorite if this went down soon.

Hopefully, it would be in Anaheim. They've both fought there recently and seem to be building decent followings. I would definitely be in attendance.

Soto isnt a big enough mainstream name imo. Rios is becoming an even bigger draw. Doubt arum would let this happen though i'd love to see it.
