100% certain this will not go down without any trouble in the crowd.

McCloskeys fans having been on the beer all day (and night from what i've heard) and Khan's fans thinking they're actually Khan.

Not a dig at the Irish fans either however you ply young lads with alcohol all day and then put them in an arena full of other drunken men, all watching a combat sport you tend to get the odd 'two-can-Van-Dammes'

And like I said, add Khan's fan who GENERALLY seem to be the worst fans in British Boxing then it's a recipe for disaster. Khan's fans are getting ****ed mind BIG TIME if it does go off.

McCloskey's fans won't cause trouble. Never do.

Yes, the Irish drink, but they drink to have fun, not to have a fight.

And please explain how Khan fans are 'generally' the worst fans in British boxing? They had that one stupid incident in the Malignaggi weigh-in and fight, but which others have they had?

And to answer the question of the thread....no, there won't be any trouble. Such things rarely happen in this sport.

Exactly. Every big show I have been to it has always kicked off at some point. Even on the small hall shows you tend to get a bit of a ruckus, but nothing on the scale of the big arenas.

And as you said, you'll have a load of drunk irishmen and muslims there. It's not a question of if it kicks off, it's when.

Your exceedingly naive if you think there won't even be the smallest amount of McCloskey 'fans' over from Ireland looking for trouble.

In my experience if you go for the boxing and keep yourself to yourself you'll be fine. The only problems I had at the MEN was getting a drink and the price I had to pay for one!

I'm not aware of Muslims and Irishmen having any problems in the past. People here are making an issue when there isn't one.

The Irish will be roaring in support in the early rounds, give Paul a standing round of applause for his effort after the fight is finished, and then they'll go off and party somewhere. That's it.

Right, so if you've never witnessed crowd-brawls at a fight, then you've never been to a boxing match. That makes sense.
