Latest news is Soto has left Top Rank and is joining GBP. He's pulled out of the Antillon rematch and Mosley/Pac card.

So the talk is Antillon could end up fighting Rios in June and if Soto ends up at GBP then he'll fight Guerrero.

Both are top fights, especially Soto-Guerrero. If Marquez moves up the winner of Soto-Guerrero would be The Man at 135.

Antillon-Rios would just be a brilliant war :yep

Guerrero was impressive at the weekend and Soto has been showing signs of slowing down with age but I would still fancy him to sneak a win there

Soto pulling out has made the Pacquiao-Mosley event in general absolutely atrocious now. Antillion is almost Rios-lite, and probably has little to no chance in that fight. I'd expect Guerrero to beat Soto pretty handily too, Soto's certainly looked well past his best in recent outings.

Those boys are gonna be hurting the day after. Terrific prospect. Guerrero v Soto is a fascinating match up also. 2011 could be the year of The Ghost after all.

So where does all this leave our very own John Murray?

Soto has hired the lawyer that handled Doniare leaving Top Rank. That didn't go exactly as planned!

Pretty shitty that he pulls out so close to the fight imo.

I'd go for Guerrero by 116-112 over Soto.

And there is no way on earth Rios v Antillon is going the distance. Rios TKO8

Isn't there a clause that stops Top Rank fighters jumping ship??

I think we see Soto move up to 140lbs. Which means the title at 135 is vacant.

If Soto does move up then 1 and 2 with the WBC are DeMarco and Murray :yep

I bet we see Antalion vs DeMarco for the vacant title before then.

Murray is not ready for a world title yes. Warren doesn't want it.

This is better than Soto-Antillon II, IMO.

Yep. Didn't you know he's running all the way up to 140 for a date with King Khan?

Relatively comfortable wins for Rios and Guerrero. Rios vs. Antillon will be fun to watch though, someone's getting hurt there.
