I will go with that McDonald of the Prizefighter ilk is the best we have by a long shot. JL jnr and Buffer are the sh*t tho. Burdis is utter dog **** and thank fu*k I am not the only one who thinks so.

 

Burdis is shite and has a terribly dull voice! We would be better off with Brian Blessed!

Logan isnt bad but Buffer and Lennon Jr are the best ring announcers by miles and miles.

 

Good article with Jimmy Lennon Jnr in this week Boxing News Xmas edition. Comes across as an honest bloke.

my favourite ever MC moment has to be a few years ago at Oasis Leisure Centre Swindon, it was just before some fight between a local lad and a journeyman, nothing of note, when he announced he was time to stand for the national anthem, which was random as ****, then there was a pause and he started belting it out himself a cappella ive never laughed so hard at one of the more randoms things ive seen in a ring, wish i knew who that was but i think it was just the promoters mate or something

 

Burdis is ****! Everytime a ****** fighter loses he sounds depressed as ****, far to biased.

Dstar Boxer Burdess is pure ****, why does he say the names so short when he calls out the opponents name ..... Announcing the opponents is meant to be the part what gets ur adrenaline going and gets the crowd going.... Don't know how Burdess got an MC licence.... Jimmy Leonard Jnr just shades it over Buffer, his got that voice that makes you want to go to war, that's why Tyson all ways used him in the big fights......
