Trout to defend in Mexico

Some sources indicate that the Mexican prospect Marco Antonio “Dorado” Reyes might be the next rival for the WBA current super welterweight world champion Austin Trout, who could make his first defense in June in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The same source reports that the contract with Austin Trout is already signed and the event would be presented in Mexico by Promociones del Pueblo.

Reyes trains in in Mexico City at the famed Romanza Gym.

Initially it was thought that Trout might face David “The Destroyer” Lopez or or an opponent from Argentina.

 

Would it be fair to say Garth Wood does not have the best record on that list?

 

I dunno, if he wins the next 37 straight it'll be the same as Martinez.
