Some people are here saying McCloskey deliberately goes slower on media workouts as a he doesnt want to give to much away, I find that hard to believe because you would think McCloskey would make the most of the media attention since he never gets anyway, I agree that he is not going to be 100% there but still to say that he is being slow for the camera is just beggars belief.

We will find out how fast McCloskey and Khan really are on Sat.

I was just about to comment on that, it makes it unbearable to watch the training videos.

Khan tries to imitate Pacquaio in everyway, The banging of the gloves, The raising of the arms, Now the sounds, Next he will be doing the two hand punch.

He does it to impress Roach. Cringe worthy stuff.

He took eleven rounds to beat Giuseppe Lauri (beaten in five by Hatton and two by Witter eons ago) that sums up McCloskeys level

We could be looking at another Salita like blowout here, I would be surprised if McCloskey sees the third round

Michael Katsidis looked very slow in his workouts before he KO'd Mitchell and look what happened there.

Khan wins this quite easily though

I was the guy who said Brian Magee would give a good account against Bute, that Morales would not be blown out by Maidana (although I had Morales by bodyshots to be fair), and declared umpteen years ago that john duddy would never be world champion(although a guys knew this, a lot of others let irish bias cloud their judgement)

so you should listen to me.

too many people are going off the lauri fight, lauri came to spoil like a mother****er all night, what about witter vs lynes and mccloskey vs lynes?

    these comparisons dont mean ****.

unless mccloskey waits for khan to finish, he has every chance of landing good counters. he'd better not hang around though, its the first few rounds I worry about, but this whole "he wont last 3 rounds" is utter **** (bute magee de ja vu, and I give mccloskey a much bigger chance than I gave Magee)

I also had Khan KOing Salita within 3, anybody comparing McCloskey to Salita and laughing at people giving McCloskey a chance to win may go shoot themselves. You only need to have watched Salita fight and his gift decisions to know that he would never even be close to Euro champ over here let alone deserve a shot at Khan.
