What do people think of the sky sports commentary team.

I personally always stay up to watch the 2am fights. And occasionally Friday night Fights.

I reay feel like muting the tv as I find them so negative.

Intead of speaking with excitement to build up the fight, they just seem to moan all the time.

They do nothing to add to the excitement of a fight but instead seem to moan about it been onesided.

    What do you guys think.

I think its time for a change, a freshen up perhaps.

Someone with a bit of passion and excitement.

i like most of them to be honest and try to enjoy the fight rather than focus on the commentary.

the only 1 i cant really get on with is john Rawling, cant quite finger why, but i dont let it bother me to much

Darke is the best commentator and Woodhall the best co comentator.

I don't mind Smith or Rawling. Ed Robison is very good and a good commentator when given the go. Watt can get annoying, he has had his day. Nelson, McCrory are decent enough pundits and most of the guests they have are ok.

Adam Smith should NOT be presenting Ringside just commentating and Bob Mee should not be on the show either.

    The ultimate team would be;

    Darke with Woodhall
    Kerr Presenting
    Spencer Oliver at Ringside
McCrory, Nelson & McGuigan as pundits.
    Robinson interviewing

Would love Buncey to be invovled but realisticly thats never gonna happen. Honestly reckon he would be on rignside once a month now if he just kept his mouth shut.

That's a good team. Richie's "believe you me's" get a bit too much at times though.

Either Darke, Rawling or Nick Halling are good commentators.

Jim Watt is far superior to both Nelson and McCrory, who's really slipped in the past couple of years. Woodhall is very good as is Steve Collins..... of course Jamie Moore and Spencer Oliver are too.

You could have Nick Halling presenting as he co-hosts the NFL coverage..... either Darke or Rawling in the chair with Woodhall or Watt, with the other in the studio with one of Collins, Moore and Oliver.

There's plenty to choose from, that's for sure.

Smith and Nelson get too starstruck for my liking and look as stiff as a board on camera, you can almost see their eyes moving across their autocue like a student on work placement. Have Halling doing Ringside with Ed Robinson and studio guests. Keep the slot with Dan Rafael too, try and add Sauerland for a bit of continental news also.

Steve is obviously too outspoken to feature on Sky - part of his appeal is that he can say what he wants without fear of recourse.

think they could have someone other than Rafael.

My issue with the boxing presenters is you need to have presenters that at least look like they could handle themselves. Look at Smith on ringside last week. what a ****ing GEEK!

Steve Kim should be the US correspondent. At least his opinion are his actual opinions not what he is being paid to say by Finkel & Greenburg. And he is an actual boxing journolist. Have always thought why not have a US co-commentator for the US fights. Fly out Rawling & Woodhall but have Antonio Tarver or Lennox Lewis with them.

Pretty sure we will see Lennox involved for the Haye vs fight.

I don't think Rafael is that bad..... though Steve Kim is better I agree.

I'd prefer an American based commentator - in fact I'd prefer they just used the full American feed with Showtime or HBO and spent the budget elsewhere.

Tarver is the man though..... when you think how much of a twat he can be at pressers and interviews, behind the mic he's top notch.

    Yeah, he is pretty dominant.

My only real issue with him is that he's a bit of a Haye flagwaver. I'm not saying this because of my dislike for Haye at all - it's blindingly obvious from their early days with Setanta.

Showtime yes but you never get HBO team always an international feed which is BS.

Its not just Haye. He is a flagwaver for all british fighters you justy don't realsie it as your a flagwaver for every brit to appart from Haye.
