I remember the hype on here about the "riot" that Khan's army caused at the Paulie M weigh in...I was very disappointed when I saw the video!

All I'm saying is that if Khan's fans think the Irish are all "fun loving, silly hat wearing" bukmins who can be easily targeted then they are in for a big shock... Nothing to do with their nationaliy as the same thing would happen if they tried it on with a group of Poles, Welsh, Scots or English... Khan's fans are ****s of the highest order and if he hadn't been fighting an Irishman you would have seen a cross-country combined football firm turn up for the night... It will happen at his next British show and it will be major.

Hmm, funny how when troublemakers are pinpointed from other fighter's support base, they are the 'minority', yet the unanimous opinion seems to be that Khan's fans are all ****s.

idiots such Lee Mc above seem to want to make this a racial thing. The obvious undertone being that the Welsh, Irish, Scottish, English, Poles (insert any other white group residing in the UK here), are tougher than khan's fans (ie. P*kistanis). ****ing ridiculous.

Have you ever been to a Khan show? Most of his "fans" who cause trouble are in their late teens and number in the 10s rather than the 100s... Of course they're going to get run by any decent, organised football firm... Am I saying that whites are harder? Not at all... But, that said, maybe you can explain why the black youths who give it the bigun all week in and around Deptford and Peckham can't be seen for love or money whenever Millwall are at home? Trust me, I know a few guys who would love to have a chat with them but can't find any... Maybe you're on to something...

Yep, once. I saw some idiots. Outweighed by the thousands of quieter fans.

I have loads of friends from here in Birmingham who follow him more fervently than me, and if you spent even ten minutes with them, you'd realise they're all upstanding guys who are just not the type to get into fights and be aggressive.

My opinion on this is that there are a hardcore group of a hundred or so Khan fans who go to his fights to give it the large, and generally act like twats. These are the only ones people notice since they're so vocal.

You guy's should come to Ireland at a boxing show you would love it. We are all well behaved and when national anthems are played the Irish fans will respect the foreign boxers anthem and stay quiet. I've been to loads of boxing shows in Ireland and never seen any trouble. Does anyone remember the supposed trouble that was going to kick off in Croke Park in 2007 when England played Ireland in the Rugby - especially for the national anthemns. The result - 80000 Irish fans remaining completely silent then applauding after the English national anthemn. BBC commentators were like - what was all the fuss about.

Wait up, your logic isnt working at all here. Khan sells thousands of tickets as I'm sure you know. According to you 'Khans fans are ****s of the highest order'. But now you say they're in groups of tens. Are you suggesting there are hundreds of these small groups itching for trouble? Because if that were even remotely true, there would be masses of fights and venues would end up looking like warzones. You're chatting ****. It's plainly obvious that most of Khans fans are ok.

As for the Millwall case, I guess the obvious answer would be for your hard ass mates to get together on a non-football day and go and sort them out. Oh wait, they're only hard on matchdays when their in huge numbers. Funny that

Hey mate, serious question. I love Irish people. I had a shop in the middle of an Irish part of Birmingham once upon a time, and the people there were extremely friendly and helpful. That was despite some of my ignorant fellow P*kistanis telling me I would be subject to racism in that area which they thought was just another racist white area. Anyway, I've always wanted to go on holiday to mainland Ireland because of my experiences with Irish people but a couple of English lads I know told me that I wouldn't be welcomed, being brown and sporting a stubbly beard. What do you think? Any places to avoid or was that bull**** scaremongering?
