Yeah dude I know he was outclassed by Floyd and Outgunned by Pac. But I think we would agree that the said habits "drinking and blowing up" definitely had effects on him. Not saying that it could or would've change the outcome of his loses but it definitely contributed.

His mental strength is so poor and I never really liked him

But props for wanting to face the best out there, a rarity in today's elite boxing

yeah thats probably true, I think its always better for a boxer to stay near the weight between fighst rather then blowing up. It was remarkable though how easily ricky always lost those pounds.

Yeah, he really balloons up in between fights. Forgot what weight, but I'm amazed on how he loses those pounds by weeks at training camp. Never did it sinked into my mind that "that" habit is really bad until lately.

He made his money and he had some good fights... That Pacquiao ass whipping really messed up his head though I think.... but props to Ricky for knowing when to hang up the gloves. He had a solid career... I hope he can get his life and health in order.

He will always be remembered for the two brutal and embarrassing KO's against PBF and Pacquiao. Hopefully he saves his money.

Possibly. Hatton was never going to last as long as a Mayweather, or a Marquez. He didn't have the defense for it. His bad habits out of the ring caught up with him, it just happened to catch up with him when he was in amongst the Elites of the sport.

Nice to see a "boxing" fan showing his respect for a world champion who gave us fans plenty of memorable nights. Keep up the sterling work Rico.

He had a lot of hometown fights with hometown referees and judges. The KT fight was an absolute disgrace and mockery of the sport. He came over to America and got laid out twice and I had him losing the Collazo fight also.

Maybe by British level the guy was a Class A fighter but by American standards he was Class B.
